Monday, November 26, 2007
Dear All
The first week is now full, and we have 7 people booked onto the second week. Ideally we would like to get another 1 or 2 people for the second week so that we can run 2 smaller groups rather than one large one.Attached are all the details and this is the link to the websitehttp://www.basschamonix.com/mts.htmI'd been grateful if you could pass this onto anyone who you think might still be interested. Please contact me if you need any more details 07725852129. Kind regardsAlisonA Ski Performance Course for Mountaineers
The course is aimed at mountaineers who can ski comfortably on red runs and having sampled a little of the delights off the off Piste world now wants to get better FASTER.
The 4 day course will consist of 3 hours of focussed tuition (either 9-12, or 1-4 depending on group), giving you the rest of the day to practice. There is also a day off in the middle of the week for rest, or consolidation.
The courses will run on the following dates:
10th – 14th Dec (with the 12th as a rest day)
17th – 21st Dec (with 19th as a rest day)
The cost of the course is £130.
The group size will be between 4 – 6.
The course will be run in the Chamonix valley. The specific venue will depend upon the weather and snow conditions and will vary throughout the week. (For the early season course we may have to venture outside the valley to find the best snow conditions.)
To book call Shona on 01259 769275 or email shona@basschamonix.com www.basschamonix.com

Scottish World Champion Surf Kayaker !!
Tuesday, November 13, 2007
CONGRATUALTIONS TO TRACEY SHERRINGTON! Tracey has yet again become the Female World Champion Kayak Surfer.
Tracey and the Scottish team lead by Ian Sherrington (they like the family thing) were also awarded the best 'Teamy Team' ie they seemed to get on the best and have the biggest laughs.......no surprises there and apparently no direct link with the amound of alcohol consumed ( well, apparently).
Ian got to the semi-finals and Tom got the the quarter finals. Not bad for a World Championships for a newly formed team. We are very proud of them all and they are surely an inspiration to get out and surf!
