Chernoble Children Visit Glenmore Lodge
Thursday, July 30, 2009
Every year since 2000 children affected by the nuclear disaster of 1986 have been coming to Glenmore Lodge for a day of sporting activites.
The charity "Chernobyl Children Life Line" organises trips for children from affected areas to Scotland. This is a fantastic organisation that makes a massive differance to the lives of so many children.
On Thursday the 30th of July 24 children from Chernobyl spent the day with us at Glenmore Lodge. This year we provided tasters in rock climbing, a chance to play in our pool and some problem solveing games.
It was a fantastic day and we look forward to spending another day with the children from Chernobyl next year!
