AMI TOOLING SERIES KICKS OFF AT GL

Sunday, July 26, 2009

Pete Hill has co-ordinated a series of 3 tooling competitions for AMI and the first one was held here at the Lodge. As you can see from his picture, he is pretty smug with himself and found time for eating while he left the rest of us trying to work out some of the problesm he had set.

The route setting has been great. There was enough to stretch the more adept and lots for the begginers to tooling who were here enjoying the banter and the sound effects from climbers as tools and crampons scraped and scratched up the granite towers.

There were some great prizes from the sponsors too which brought some smiles - nice one Sam.

For more information on the next event at Keswick Wall on Aug 8th, contact pete@petehillmic.com or visit the AMI website or the MLTA website

NICE JOB PETE!
