Highlights of the 5th Edinburgh Mountain Film Festival will include:

5 lectures, including Stephen Venables, Barry Blanchard and Ian Parnell
30 adventure films, including world premieres and Scottish premieres
Exhibitions of mountain photography and art (this will run for 4 weeks in advance of the main festival event and be located within Edinburgh Central Library on George IV Bridge)
A series of interactive Adventure Taster events, including kayaking, skiing, climbing and mountain biking (note that these will be held 15-18 October, extending the festival to 7 days)
A number of free events, including most Adventure Taster sessions and the exhibitions
Social gatherings, including the Adventure Taster events, film-makers’ nights and the 3rd EMFF party, as well as many informal gatherings during the festival itself.

Emma and Jane from Glenmore Lodge will be there too. They love to chat!!
